Gzip compression of my html and css has been enabled and confirmed with whatsmyip.org's gzip compression test!
I also added the Services page, rearranged some menu items, and tweaked the nav generator a bit.
I spent a ridiculous amount of time last night fixing minute details and making sure the site worked in Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, and that it degraded gracefully-ish for IE 6, 7 and 8. Success!
Semi-Live
My portfolio site is almost finished! It's finished enough for marking by my
instructor, so far, and just needs a few more tweaks before I release it into the
wider web at jeffszusz.com to replace the crap
that's there now!
In particular I need a real tagline/slogan…
…
I discovered the "…" html code thinger! Now I can use "…" instead of "..."
Without the Shiv
I sent a link to a prototype version of this site to a friend before using the html5Shiv. You can imagine how embarassed I was when I learned what she first saw!
Isn't it beautiful?
